Please join us in welcoming Morgan Johannes, PA-C.  Morgan is a distinguished board-certified physician assistant with a profound dedication to advancing women’s health care. Her journey into the medical field is marked by rigorous academic preparation and exceptional clinical experience. In August 2023, Morgan achieved a significant milestone by completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the esteemed Midwestern University. This accomplishment not only signified the culmination of her hard work but also heralded her entry into the professional team at Women’s Health Group. 

 

Throughout her academic tenure, Morgan was privileged to undertake both her OBGYN and elective clinical rotations here at our esteemed, family-owned clinic. Her selection for these placements was no small feat; Morgan was meticulously chosen from a competitive pool of applicants in last year’s selection process. This opportunity allowed her to gain firsthand experience in the field, under the tutelage of our experienced healthcare professionals, setting a solid foundation for her future endeavors.

 

Before joining WHG, Morgan honed her medical skills in various settings, demonstrating her adaptability and eagerness to learn. While pursuing her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated with Highest Honors, Morgan also gained valuable experience working in the urgent care environment. This period was instrumental in developing her ability to handle acute medical situations with composure and efficacy. Additionally, her role as a medical assistant in the field of otolaryngology – head & neck surgery in Orland Park, IL, before commencing her PA studies, underscored her commitment to the medical profession and her pursuit of specialized knowledge.

 

Morgan’s special interests in women’s health care—ranging from contraceptive care, management of sexually transmitted infections, infertility issues, to delivering high-quality prenatal and postpartum care—further emphasize her dedication to offering comprehensive and compassionate care. Her approach to patient care is holistic and inclusive, catering to individuals seeking female providers or those new to gynecological exams, thereby fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
