Dr. Michael M. Awad
Dr. Michael M. Awad is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to women at every stage of life. His journey in medicine began with groundbreaking research in tumor biology at Harvard Medical School, where he contributed to advancements in breast cancer research.
He earned his medical degree from Midwestern University and was selected for his residency training at Loyola University Medical Center, where he trained under some of the nation’s leading experts—including his father, a distinguished OB/GYN. Through this rigorous training, Dr. Awad developed expertise in comprehensive women’s health, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and fertility care.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Awad is committed to building lasting relationships with his patients, offering personalized treatment plans and the highest standard of medical excellence. Whether providing prenatal care, performing complex surgeries, or guiding patients through menopause, he ensures that every woman feels supported, informed, and confident in her healthcare decisions.

In August 2023, Morgan achieved a significant milestone by completing her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the esteemed Midwestern University. This accomplishment not only signified the culmination of her hard work but also heralded her entry into the professional team at Women’s Health Group.
Jennifer Sykstus, PA-C
Jennifer is a board-certified Physician Assistant who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in May 2025. She is deeply passionate about women’s health and is dedicated to providing every patient with a comfortable, supportive, and empowering care experience.
Georgiana Gomorczak, PA-C
Georgiana Gomorczak, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. After completing a clinical rotation with Women’s Health Group during her training, she was excited to join the practice and begin her career in women’s health.
Georgiana is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout all stages of life. She is especially committed to patient education and believes that informed patients are empowered patients.
