Women’s Health Group Chicago was founded by Dr. Magdy Awad with a clear vision: to build a medical practice centered on family, tradition, excellent medicine, and accessibility.
The practice began in Bridgeport, where Dr. Awad cared for women and families with the belief that medicine should remain personal. As the practice grew and eventually moved west to its current location, that philosophy never changed. Over the years, we have had the privilege of caring for multiple generations within the same families—patients whose mothers, daughters, sisters, and granddaughters have all trusted us with their care.
Those families became part of ours.
As Women’s Health Group Chicago expanded and welcomed new providers, we remained committed to the principles on which the practice was founded. We have never wanted to become a corporate medical office where patients are reduced to numbers or routed through layers of bureaucracy. We have chosen to remain an independent, physician-led practice built around individuality, continuity, and personal care.
That philosophy extends to every part of the patient experience. When you call our office, you do not reach a distant call center. You reach a member of our team who will listen, respond, and help get you the answers you need. From the person who greets you at the front desk to the physician caring for you, we believe excellence should be felt at every step.
At the same time, honoring tradition does not mean standing still. We continue to invest in the newest technology and modern approaches to women’s healthcare, including telehealth, advanced in-office procedures, sophisticated diagnostic capabilities, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and contemporary obstetric and gynecologic care.
Our practice has grown, our technology has advanced, and our team has expanded—but the foundation remains the same: excellent medicine, personal relationships, accessibility, and care that never loses sight of the individual patient.
